On our home internet, we are all susceptible to frequent broadband internet problems. The worst that can happen to our house WiFi varies from slow to nonexistent speed to catastrophic outages. If you use too much bandwidth, it interferes with other users’ ability to browse the shared network. Therefore, you must determine whether the slow internet speed is caused by a FUP. To confirm your FUP status, call your ISP or check the company’s mobile app. There you will find the notification. Common Internet Issues: No signal or signal but no internet

It’s also a problem that every internet user encounters regularly. Your device may occasionally appear to be connected to our SSID but display “no internet” instead. This indicates that the signal needed to set up an internet connection is not being sent by your router. Sometimes it simply displays an outage or no signal.

The reasons

Faulty cables/breakages:

It can be a defective wire. Faulty wires. Check for any cut in the wire or disconnection from the plugs. Additionally, make that the router’s power indicator is turned on. Regarding the cable break, it could occur inside your walls or at the poles.

International outage:

Restart the router or reset it:

However, you can attempt various tactics, like resetting your router, if the problem is not with the connections. Most of the time, this should do the trick. But it’s also possible that even when the WLAN, internet, and power LEDs are all blinking, the internet connection is not working. At this point, you can restart your router to get it back to work.  Be careful that you could also notice red lights blinking If you see them, it means the connection is not there yet, or it has suffered a cable breakage causing the red light to blink.

But also, beware of unauthorized access to your Wifi, which could be due to hacking or password stealing. At this, we suggest you look for who is on your WiFi and regularly change your WiFi password to keep your network protected.

Have your ISP refresh your internet package:

If it still doesn’t work for you, try resetting your router or, better yet, calling your ISP to upgrade your internet plan. Although you may manually restore your router settings, it is much more practical for us when ISPs handle this for us remotely.

Set up the router nearer to you:

The distance may occasionally be the reason there is no network or connectivity. If the connection is lost, try moving closer to the router and boosting your device’s signal to see if it helps. In the meanwhile, hardware or server failure causes outages across the entire internet. Check to see if it is restricted to particular apps and services or the whole network. You can exercise patience in these situations and wait for the signal to come back.  You can also stay in contact with your ISP to get updates.

Another issue: Unsatisfying service from the ISP

The majority of internet users will immediately mention it as the main cause of their subpar broadband performance. While ISPs occasionally fall short of providing everyone with satisfactory service, it is also their responsibility to persuade customers that the service they provide is worth paying for. After all, we are among the countries who pay the greatest for internet and the customers’ expectations must be reasoned with.

We are not claiming anything different either, as we well understand that on the internet, the loudest also speak the least, but everyone must feel as though they are being well taken care of.
