In view of the second wave of corona infection, a written and trial examination of driver’s license will be conducted in three districts of Kathmandu Valley.
The Chabahil Transport Office under Bagmati Pradesh issued a notice on Sunday stating that the examination will be conducted as per the health security standards set by the Ministry of Health and Population. As per the direction of the Department of Transport Management, the Transport Office will open the written and test from September 8.
According to the information, those who have applied for the driving test for the driving license from September 8, have taken the biometric written test, participated in the written test, participated in the test, failed the test, participated in the re-test, and attended the office. Candidates who have registered for the driving license will be able to participate in the examination.
Upendra Sah, information officer at the Traffic Management Office, Driver’s License, Thulobharyang, informed that the trial has been opened for those who are waiting for the experimental test by giving the written test in the first phase.
According to him, another notice will be issued regarding the submission of online forms for driving licenses and the opening of online forms.
The examination and application for a driving license have been postponed since the government issued a restraining order on April 30. The transport management offices have started the service on July 22 after the government lifted the ban. However, the examination and application for a driving license have not been disclosed.
The department has brought the driving license examination procedure 2077 by modifying the previous arrangement of obtaining a driving license.
