Kathmandu. The Chaudhary Group’s CG Net, which began offering fiber internet service on June 3 in Jawalakhel, Jamsikhel, and other Lalitpur locations, has now extended to Kathmandu.
From Thursday, CG has expanded its services to the regions of Kuleshwor, Balkhu, Kalanki, Kalimati, Teku, and Tripureshwor.
The Chaudhary group created a tidal wave in Nepal’s internet industry by entering at a cheaper price than all other ISPs currently in operation and providing unrivaled internet speed.

As an inaugural offer, CG Net has made just a 120 Mbps package available. This bundle is available for one, three, six, or twelve months. This service is available to consumers for both residential and business use.
When purchasing all of the packages offered to customers, the firm claims that there are no connection or drop-wire fees to pay. For a month, CG Net has fixed the pricing of 120 Mbps speed at Rs 999 excluding VAT.
Single-band routers cost Rs 2,500, dual-band routers cost Rs 3,500, and both require Rs 500 refundable deposits.
In addition, customers who purchase three, six, or twelve-month bundles will receive a discount on routers. For any period package, the monthly price is the same.
For the three-month bundle, CG Net has set a price of Rs 2,997 excluding VAT. A single-band router costs Rs 2,000, a dual-band router costs Rs 3,000, and a refundable deposit is Rs 500.
For a six-month plan of 120 Mbps internet speed, the firm has set a price of Rs 5,994 excluding VAT. A single-band router costs Rs 1,500, a dual-band router costs Rs 2,500, and a refundable deposit is Rs 500.
CG Net, on the other hand, has set the pricing of the 12-month plan at Rs 11,988 ex-VAT. Consumers would be required to pay an extra refundable deposit of Rs 500 as part of this package, according to the firm. The company is ready to provide free routers in this package.
The firm has said that the internet would be gradually expanded in other areas as well.
